Refund policy

AtΒ Chaps Fit, we take pride in delivering premium-quality leather chaps and apparel. Each item is carefully crafted and inspected before shipment. Since most of our products are made to order, we maintain a clear and fair policy for returns and refunds to protect both our customers and our craftsmanship.

Eligibility for Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted only if:

  1. The product has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during transit.
  2. The request must be submitted within 15 days of delivery.
  3. The item is unused, unworn, unaltered and returned in its original packaging with all tags attached.
  4. Clear photographic evidence of the defect must be provided within 48 hours of delivery.
  5. If return or exchange request has been approved by our support team at support@chapsfit.com.

Important: Returns or exchanges without prior approval will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Custom-made, made-to-measure or personalized chaps
  • Sale, discounted, or promotional items (unless defective)
  • Worn, altered, or damaged items due to customer use
  • Items returned without original tags or packaging

Return & Refund Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping and handling costs.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • We recommend using a tracked and insured courier, as Chaps Fit is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Important: For Return & Exchange, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is confirmed to be defective due to a manufacturing error.

How to Request a Return or Refund

To initiate a return or refund request:

  2. Include the following details:
  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Email used at checkout
  • Reason for return/refund
  • Clear photos showing the defect or issue (if applicable)

Our support team will respond within 48 business hours with approval and return instructions.

Note: Returns sent without approval will not be accepted or processed.

Refund Processing

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
