Refund policy
AtΒ Chaps Fit, we take pride in delivering premium-quality leather chaps and apparel. Each item is carefully crafted and inspected before shipment. Since most of our products are made to order, we maintain a clear and fair policy for returns and refunds to protect both our customers and our craftsmanship.
Eligibility for Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted only if:
- The product has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during transit.
- The request must be submitted within 15 days of delivery.
- The item is unused, unworn, unaltered and returned in its original packaging with all tags attached.
- Clear photographic evidence of the defect must be provided within 48 hours of delivery.
- If return or exchange request has been approved by our support team at support@chapsfit.com.
Important: Returns or exchanges without prior approval will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Custom-made, made-to-measure or personalized chaps
- Sale, discounted, or promotional items (unless defective)
- Worn, altered, or damaged items due to customer use
- Items returned without original tags or packaging
Return & Refund Shipping Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping and handling costs.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- We recommend using a tracked and insured courier, as Chaps Fit is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
Important: For Return & Exchange, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is confirmed to be defective due to a manufacturing error.
How to Request a Return or Refund
To initiate a return or refund request:

- Include the following details:
- Full name
- Order number
- Email used at checkout
- Reason for return/refund
- Clear photos showing the defect or issue (if applicable)
Our support team will respond within 48 business hours with approval and return instructions.
Note: Returns sent without approval will not be accepted or processed.
Refund Processing
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds are processed within 7β10 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
